The Vitamin of Invisible Friends

Ten-year-old Lily sat at her grandmother's kitchen table, staring at a tiny orange tablet. "This is no ordinary vitamin," Grandma whispered mysteriously. "It's for the imagination." Lily giggled. Grandma was always saying silly things.

That afternoon, Lily was bored. Her parents were working, and she had nothing to do. She picked up her iPhone and sighed. Suddenly, she remembered Grandma's vitamin. Curious, she swallowed it with a glass of water.

CRACKLE! SPARKLE! WHOOSH!

Lily's iPhone began to glow. A tiny creature, no bigger than a thumb, popped out from the screen! It had a round blue body, sparkly wings, and the friendliest smile Lily had ever seen.

"Hello!" squeaked the creature. "I'm Zing! I've been waiting inside your phone for someone to take the friendship vitamin!"

Lily gasped. "You're REAL?"

"Very real!" Zing did a happy flip in the air. "Most people stare at their phones all day and never notice me. But you took the vitamin! Now you can see all the magical friends hiding in technology!"

Zing showed Lily something amazing: inside her iPhone was a whole magical kingdom. Tiny creatures lived there—artists who painted the pictures, musicians who played the ringtones, and messengers who carried texts. They'd been lonely because no one could see them.

"We need friends too," Zing said sadly.

Lily's heart swelled. "I'll be your friend! And I'll tell everyone to look for the magic in their phones, not just stare at them like zombies!"

Over the next weeks, Lily and Zing had adventures. They explored the Music Kingdom, visited the Photo Gallery where tiny artists painted memories, and made friends with the messenger creatures who delivered kind words.

Lily learned something wonderful: the best vitamin isn't the one you swallow. It's friendship, kindness, and really SEEING people—even the tiniest friends hiding in surprising places.

Grandma just winked when Lily told her. "I knew you'd discover the real magic," she said.

Now Lily visits Zing every day, and she's never bored again. Because sometimes, the most wonderful friends are the ones you have to look twice to see.
