The Vitamin Bear's Orange Dream

Barnaby was a small brown bear who lived in a cozy cave near Sparkle Lake. Every morning, he watched the other bears splash and play in the water. But Barnaby had a secret—he was afraid of swimming.

One sunny afternoon, Barnaby found something mysterious near the berry bushes. It was round and bright, the color of sunshine itself. An orange! He'd never seen anything like it before. The orange seemed to glow with magic.

"What are you?" Barnaby whispered.

A tiny fairy popped out from behind the orange! She was no bigger than his paw. "I'm Zola!" she squeaked. "This is a special orange. It's full of vitamin magic that makes you BRAVE!"

Barnaby's eyes widened. "Brave? Like for swimming?"

"Exactly!" Zola danced in the air. "One bite, and you'll feel courage bubbling in your tummy!"

Barnaby took a tiny bite. SWEET and JUICY burst in his mouth! Suddenly, his paws felt lighter. His heart felt STRONG. He marched toward Sparkle Lake.

The other bears watched in surprise as Barnaby waded into the water. SPLASH! He was swimming! His paws paddled gracefully, and he zoomed through the water like a furry fish.

"Look at Barnaby!" cheered the little bears.

That evening, Barnaby shared his orange with everyone. They learned that the real magic wasn't just in the fruit—it was in being brave enough to try. And from that day on, Barnaby became known as the Bear Who Swam with Sunshine in his heart.

Sometimes, the smallest things—like one orange—can give us the biggest courage of all.
