The Tiny Fish and the Big Bull's Secret

In the middle of a dusty desert stood a mysterious pyramid. It wasn't like the ones in books – this one glowed softly at night, as if filled with captured stars.

Young Lily had moved from the city to live with her grandmother near the desert. One evening, while wandering in her backyard, she spotted something twinkling at the top of the ancient pyramid. But what surprised her most was what she found near its base: a tiny goldfish swimming in what looked like a magical puddle that never dried up.

"Hello there, little one," a deep, rumbly voice said.

Lily jumped and turned around. Standing there was the biggest, most magnificent bull she had ever seen. His coat was the color of sunset, and his horns curved like gentle rainbows. Most surprisingly, he wore a small golden collar that sparkled with tiny stars.

"I'm Benny," the bull said kindly. "And this shimmering puddle is my friend Finnegan the goldfish."

"But how can a goldfish live in a puddle?" Lily asked, her eyes wide with wonder.

Benny smiled (yes, bulls can smile when they're magical). "Finnegan is no ordinary fish. The pyramid chose him as its guardian long ago. You see, this pyramid isn't made of stone – it's made of dreams that children forgot."

Lily's heart raced. "Forgotten dreams?"

"Every time a child grows too old for imagination, their dreams drift here," Finnegan bubbled, his voice sounding like tiny bells. "Benny and I keep them safe until new children come to imagine them back to life."

Lily thought about her own dreams – the ones she'd stopped believing in when she started 'growing up.' Her dream of dancing with stars, of painting with moonbeams, of having adventures that never ended.

"Can I help?" Lily asked eagerly.

Benny nodded his massive head. "Touch the pyramid with your whole heart."

Lily placed both hands on the warm, glowing surface. Suddenly, golden swirls of light danced around her. She felt her forgotten dreams rushing back – stronger, brighter, more wonderful than before.

That night, Lily danced with actual starlight under the desert sky. And every night after, she returned to visit Benny and Finnegan, learning that growing up doesn't mean letting go of magic – it means protecting it for others to find.

The pyramid still glows, the bull still smiles, and the tiny goldfish still swims in his impossible puddle, waiting for the next dreamer to believe.
