The Sun's Breakfast Pool

Emma loved summer mornings by the pool. Her grandma always said, 'The early bird catches the worm, but the early swimmer catches the magic.'

One Tuesday, Emma found something strange floating in her pool—a bright orange. But not just any orange. This one had tiny stars twinkling under its skin like it was holding captured sunshine.

Curious, Emma poked it. The orange rippled like water, and suddenly a tiny face popped out! 'You found me!' squeaked the orange creature. 'I'm Pip, the Sun's breakfast delivery boy!'

Pip explained that every morning, he had to dive to the bottom of the pool where magical vitamin crystals grew. 'The Sun gets tired from shining all day,' Pip said. 'These vitamins give the Sun energy to wake up and make the world bright again!'

'But I'm running late!' Pip cried. 'The Sun is waiting, and I'm too small to carry enough crystals alone. Will you help?'

Emma nodded, and together they plunged into the water. Amazingly, she could breathe! The pool transformed into a secret kingdom glowing with golden crystals. Each vitamin crystal hummed with warmth and power.

They gathered as many as Emma's hands could hold. But just as they surfaced, Emma noticed something sad—her friend Leo was sitting on the pool deck, looking pale and tired.

'Leo hasn't been feeling well,' Emma whispered. 'Do you think...'

Pip smiled. 'The Sun's vitamins are for sharing. That's their magic.' He placed one glowing crystal into Leo's hand. The moment it touched his palm, it dissolved into a sweet orange mist. Leo breathed it in, and suddenly his cheeks turned pink and his eyes sparkled.

'I feel... sunny inside!' Leo exclaimed.

Every morning that summer, Emma helped Pip collect vitamins. Some went to the Sun, some to sick friends, and some to lonely neighbors who needed a little brightness in their day.

On the last day of summer, Pip handed Emma a seed. 'Plant this,' he said. 'It'll grow an orange tree whose fruit holds sharing magic. Remember, Emma—vitamins aren't just in pills and fruit. The best vitamin is kindness, and it multiplies every time you give it away.'

Emma planted the seed by the pool. Years later, orange trees still grow there, their fruit always sweeter when shared with friends.
