The Stormy Pyramid

Lily's messy brown hair was always full of secrets. Her mom said it was because she had magic in her curls, but Lily knew better—her hair was just wild, like her imagination.

One stormy afternoon, Lily built a pillow pyramid in her bedroom. Lightning flashed outside her window, making the whole room glow purple. Suddenly, a small gray creature wobbled out from inside her pillow fort.

It looked like a zombie—all droopy and gray—but it was made entirely of fluffy storm clouds! The little cloud zombie smiled shyly and pointed to the window with a puffy finger.

"Come running!" it seemed to say without speaking.

Lily's hair began to glow golden, like tiny lightning bolts trapped in each curl. She took the cloud zombie's soft hand, and together they floated out the window, soaring through the stormy sky.

They discovered that lightning wasn't just scary weather—it was nature's way of painting pictures! The cloud zombie showed her how each lightning bolt created a new masterpiece, even if it only lasted a moment.

"I thought you were scary," Lily admitted.

The cloud zombie puffed out its chest proudly. "Sometimes things that look frightening are just misunderstood friends waiting for someone brave enough to say hello."

They ran through starfields and danced on clouds until dawn. When Lily returned to her pillow pyramid, her hair still shimmered with golden sparks. From that night on, she never judged anything by its appearance again—and during every storm, she'd wave at the sky, knowing her cloudy friend was painting another beautiful picture just for her.
