The Storm Bull's Secret Gift

Lila loved to spy on storms from her bedroom window. One rainy afternoon, she saw something extraordinary—a massive bull made of swirling gray clouds galloping across the sky! His horns crackled with blue lightning, and his hooves struck the ground with thunder.

Lila slipped outside in her yellow raincoat, following the magical bull to the old apple orchard. There, beneath a twisted oak tree, she watched in wonder. The storm bull lowered his head and touched his lightning-tipped horns to a puddle. Instantly, the water began to sparkle and glow like tiny stars.

"Special vitamin water for the thirsty earth," the bull rumbled gently. "One drop makes a whole garden bloom."

Lila gasped, and the bull turned. His eyes were kind, like warm sunshine breaking through clouds. "You've discovered my secret, little one. Each spring, I bring magic rain to help the world wake up from winter's sleep."

"But the farmers say lightning destroys things," Lila said.

"Only the scary lightning does," the bull explained. "My lightning is full of love and growing magic. Like how some food makes you strong, this water gives plants their own kind of vitamin power."

He invited Lila to help. Together, they splashed the glowing water on dormant flower buds, withered vines, and hungry saplings. Everywhere the magic water touched, green shoots burst forth—pink petals unfurled, vines curled upward, and tiny apples began to form.

"Can I tell everyone?" Lila asked.

"Only those who believe in magic," the bull winked. "Not everyone understands that storms can bring gifts."

That summer, Lila became the town's best gardener. Her vegetables grew enormous and her flowers bloomed all season long. And whenever a spring storm rolled in, she'd whisper, "Thank you, friend," knowing somewhere above the clouds, a magical bull was dancing through the rain, making the world beautiful one lightning drop at a time.

The best secrets, Lila learned, aren't the ones you keep—they're the ones that help everything grow.
