The Storm-Bull's Magical Game

Lily loved wearing her grandpa's old baseball hat. It was blue and faded, and when she pulled it down over her ears, she felt brave. One hot afternoon, dark clouds gathered overhead. CRACK! Lightning flashed across the sky like jagged gold ribbons.

Lily ran to the barn to check on the animals. There, in the middle of the storm, stood the most enormous bull she had ever seen. But this wasn't Farmer Brown's bull. This bull had shimmering silver fur and eyes that twinkled like stars.

"Are you scared?" the bull asked softly.

Lily shook her head. "No, I have my lucky hat."

The bull smiled. "Then come with me. I have something to show you."

The lightning struck again, but instead of hitting the ground, it danced around the bull's hooves. He lowered his giant head. "Hop on."

Lily climbed onto the bull's back, clutching her baseball hat tight. WHOOSH! Suddenly they were soaring through the storm clouds, zigzagging through bolts of lightning that felt like warm fingers tickling her toes.

"Where are we going?" Lily called.

"To the Sky Pool!" the bull replied.

They arrived at a beautiful lake floating among the clouds. The water sparkled in every color imaginable. Lily had never been swimming in the sky before!

"Jump in!" said the bull. "The water is made of happy dreams."

Lily splashed into the most wonderful water she had ever felt. All her worries melted away. The bull swam beside her, creating waves of giggles.

"Why did you bring me here?" Lily asked.

The bull's kind eyes shone. "Because you weren't afraid of the storm. Brave children deserve magical adventures. And you know what? True courage isn't about not being scared. It's about facing scary things with an open heart."

As the storm passed, the bull carried Lily home. "Will I ever see you again?" she asked.

"Whenever you wear your hat with courage, I'll be there," he promised. "Now close your eyes."

Lily woke up in her bed, her baseball hat beside her. Had it been a dream? She noticed something sparkly on the brim — a single silver hair that glowed like stardust.

Lily smiled and put on her hat. She knew that with courage and kindness, every day could be magical.
