The Storm Bull's Magical Game
Ten-year-old Leo loved rainy days. One stormy afternoon, he peeked through his window and saw something impossible—a golden bull standing in the middle of the empty padel court across the street!
Leo grabbed his yellow umbrella and ran outside. "You're real!" he gasped.
The bull nodded. His fur shimmered like lightning bolts. "I am Bolt," he rumbled gently. "I come from the Storm Kingdom. Every hundred years, I visit Earth to find a friend."
Bolt tapped his hoof on the ground, and suddenly a glowing padel racket appeared in Leo's hands!
"Let's play!" Bolt grinned. But this wasn't ordinary padel. Every time they hit the magical ball, it trailed sparkles through the air.
Crack! Boom! The real lightning above danced to their game. Thunder rumbled like applause.
Suddenly, Bolt's fur flickered. "My connection to the Storm Kingdom is fading. I need to charge myself with wonder and friendship before I return!"
Leo's eyes widened. "Your iPhone!" He pointed to a strange device glowing on Bolt's horn—a phone that ran on happy memories, not electricity!
"Quick, tell me something wonderful!" Bolt said.
Leo thought hard. "When I play padel with my grandpa, he always says, 'The best shots come from the heart.' And yesterday, I hit my very first ace!"
The phone on Bolt's horn glowed brighter!
"More!" Bolt urged.
"My friend Maria showed me her secret garden with butterflies that land on your finger. And my mom makes hot chocolate with tiny marshmallows that look like clouds!"
ZZZ-POP! The phone burst with golden light. Bolt's fur blazed brilliant yellow, brighter than any lightning.
"Thank you, Leo," Bolt whispered. "You've charged me with something better than electricity—you've filled me with joy."
Bolt handed Leo a small lightning stone. "Keep this. Whenever you play padel, I'll be playing too."
With one magnificent flash, Bolt dissolved into a million sparkles that swirled up into the storm clouds.
Leo smiled, clutching the warm stone. Some storms aren't scary at all. Some bring magic, friendship, and the best game of padel in the whole world.
Now whenever Leo sees lightning, he waves. And sometimes, just sometimes, the lightning flickers back—like a golden bull saying hello.
