The Storm Bull's Gift
In a tiny village where the sun always shined too bright, young Leo watched the dusty earth crack and beg for rain. The crops withered, and the stream had dried to a trickle. Every day, Leo climbed the highest hill, hoping to see clouds.
One evening, as the sky turned purple, Leo saw something amazing. A magnificent bull appeared on the horizon, but this was no ordinary bull. Its fur shimmered like midnight sky, and its horns glowed with arcs of dancing lightning. The storm bull had come!
Leo ran to meet the magical creature. "Please," he said, "my village needs water. Can you help us?"
The bull's lightning horns crackled gently. "I bring rain where hearts are kind," it spoke in a voice like distant thunder. "Are you a friend to those in need?"
Leo nodded. "I help my neighbors carry water from the distant well. I share my food with those who have none."
The storm bull lowered its massive head. "Then climb upon my back, little one. Together we will bring the gift of water."
Leo scrambled onto the bull's broad back, and suddenly they were soaring through the clouds! Lightning flashed around them like fireworks, sparkling and bright. Below, the village grew small as a toy.
"Now," the bull said, "call the rain with your heart. Imagine your village green and thriving."
Leo closed his eyes and pictured his neighbors smiling, the garden growing, children splashing in puddles. He felt love and hope swell in his chest.
Suddenly, cool droplets began to fall. The storm bull's lightning horns flared brighter, guiding the clouds toward the dry valley below. Rain poured down, gentle and steady, watering the thirsty earth.
When they landed, the whole village was celebrating in the downpour. Leo's neighbor hugged him. "Our friend the rain has finally come!"
The storm bull touched Leo's forehead with its glowing nose. "You brought this rain, Leo, through your kindness and friendship to others. Remember: true power comes from a caring heart."
With a final flash of lightning, the magical bull vanished into the clouds. But Leo knew it would always return whenever friendship and hope called the rain.
