The Storm Bull's Baseball Game

Leo loved baseball more than anything. Every day after school, he'd grab his glove and run to the dusty field behind his house. But today, dark clouds gathered overhead as Leo stepped up to bat.

"Crack!" The ball soared into the sky just as a flash of lightning split the clouds. Everyone scattered for cover, but Leo stood frozen, watching something impossible fall from the storm.

It wasn't rain. It was a bull—a magnificent creature with fur like storm clouds and horns that crackled with electricity. The storm bull landed gracefully on the pitcher's mound, its hooves sparking against the dirt.

"Young batter," the bull rumbled, its voice sounding like distant thunder. "I've watched you play for weeks. You have the heart of a champion, but you're afraid of the pitch that could defeat you."

Leo nodded slowly. The fastball always scared him.

"Catch this," said the bull, tossing a baseball that glowed with lightning. Leo caught it—no shock, just warmth spreading through his hands. Suddenly, he saw every pitch that would come his way. He understood fear was just a shadow, and courage was stepping into the light.

"Thank you," Leo whispered. But the storm bull was already fading into the clouds, which now broke apart to reveal golden sunshine.

The next game, Leo faced the fastest pitcher in the league. He remembered the bull's gift—the truth that bravery isn't having no fear, it's playing anyway. When the fastball came, Leo didn't flinch. He swung with all his heart.

The ball sailed over the fence—a home run!

That night, Leo saw lightning flash in distant clouds. Somewhere up there, a storm bull was watching, and Leo smiled, knowing his friend would always be there whenever he needed a reminder of his own courage.
