The Starry Padel Game

Luna loved playing padel with her best friend, Miguel. Every afternoon, they'd hit the bouncy ball back and forth across the net, laughing as it zipped through the air. But today, Miguel was missing.

Her cat, Whiskers, seemed to know something was wrong. He kept tugging at Luna's shoelaces, meowing insistently toward the old oak tree at the edge of the yard. Luna followed, curious.

Under the tree sat a bull—not a scary one, but gentle, with constellation patterns glowing on his dark coat. His kind eyes held ancient starlight.

"My friend Tico is lost," the bull rumbled softly. "He's the silly zombie who lives in the pumpkin patch. He forgot his way home before sunset."

Luna gasped. The zombie! She'd seen him shambling between the pumpkins, but he'd always seemed friendly, waving with his bandaged arm.

"I'll help!" Luna cried. Whiskers purred in agreement.

The bull lowered his mighty head. "Climb onto my back. The stars will guide us."

They soared through clouds painted pink and orange by the setting sun. Below, the pumpkin patch glowed like a field of tiny lanterns. There, near a grinning jack-o'-lantern, sat Tico the zombie. He looked scared, his one eye wide.

"I forgot which way leads home," Tico groaned sadly. "The pumpkins all look the same when you're lost."

Luna jumped down and held Tico's bandaged hand. "Don't worry. Friends help friends find their way."

The bull nodded wisely. "And sometimes, the best journeys happen when we're lost together."

They returned just as stars began twinkling. Tico invited Luna and Whiskers to play star-powered padel with him and the bull—a magical game where the ball was made of comet dust and the net was woven from moonbeams.

Luna realized something wonderful: sometimes the best adventures start with a friend in need, and end with new friends who were strangers just hours ago.

That night, Luna slept with dreams of starry games, knowing kindness could turn any scary monster into a forever friend.
