The Starry Night's Magic Pool

Lily loved summer nights. Her favorite spot was the old swimming pool in her backyard, especially when the moon reflected on the water like scattered diamonds.

One night, a lightning storm rolled in. CRACK! BOOM! The sky lit up with dancing streaks of light. Most kids would run inside, but Lily stood by the pool, watching in wonder. That's when she saw something amazing.

Each lightning flash made the water glow with soft blue light. Then, from the sky above, a giant shape appeared—a great bull made of stars! It was Taurus, the constellation, and he was coming down to visit!

"Hello, little friend," the starry bull spoke with a voice like distant thunder. "Your wonder called me down. Most children hide from lightning, but you see its beauty."

Lily's eyes widened. "You're magical!"

"We all are," the bull smiled, his star-eyes twinkling. "Would you like to see where I live?" He lowered his golden hoof, and the pool transformed into a swirling portal of midnight blue and silver sparkles.

Hand in hoof, they stepped through. Suddenly, Lily was floating among the stars! She saw galaxies like glowing pinwheels and comets trailing rainbow ribbons. The bull showed her the constellation playground where Orion's arrow became a slide and the Big Dipper poured out stardust that turned into sweet dreams.

"Every lightning storm on Earth creates a bridge between worlds," the bull explained. "Only those with brave hearts can see it."

They played among the stars until the storm passed. As the bull returned to his place in the sky, he whispered, "Remember, magic lives where wonder dwells. Never stop looking with curious eyes."

Back in her yard, the pool was just water again. But now, whenever Lily saw lightning, she smiled, knowing the starry bull was watching, and that magic was real for anyone brave enough to believe.

That night, Lily dreamed of star adventures, her heart full of the secret that had made her the luckiest girl in the world—magic friendship knows no boundaries, not even between Earth and sky.
