The Starry Night Bull

Lily loved her grandpa's old house. Every summer, she'd spend weeks exploring its dusty corners and hidden treasures. But her favorite discovery was the hat—a sparkly blue cap with silver moons that smelled like vanilla cookies.

One evening, while running through the garden chasing fireflies, Lily spotted something strange behind the oak tree. A thick black cable snaked across the grass, glowing softly in the twilight.

"What are you doing here?" Lily whispered. The cable pulsed with light, like it was answering her. Curious, she grabbed her magic hat and tugged gently.

Suddenly, the cable tightened, lifting her up, up, UP into the sky! Lily held on tight as she soared past clouds and twinkling stars. The cable was pulling her toward something magnificent.

"Whoa!" she gasped. A giant bull made of golden starlight stood on a fluffy cloud. His horns were crescent moons, his eyes were friendly planets, and his breath smelled like cotton candy.

"Hello, small friend!" the Starry Bull rumbled softly. "I've been waiting for someone brave enough to follow my star-cable."

"Are you... real?" Lily asked, pinching herself.

"As real as dreams and wishes!" The bull smiled. "I guard the constellation Taurus, but I'm lonely. Nobody visits the stars anymore."

Lily's heart squeezed. "I'll visit you! But how do I get home?"

"Your heart knows the way," the bull said wisely. "But first, would you like to see the Milky Way river? It's made of melted marshmallows!"

They galloped across the night sky, running past dancing constellations and singing planets. Lily laughed as the bull showed her the Moon's secret garden where glow-in-the-dark flowers bloomed.

When it was time to leave, the bull nuzzled her cheek. "Thank you for believing in magic. Whenever you wear your hat and look at Taurus, I'll wave back."

Lily slid down the star-cable, landing softly in her garden. She waved at the brightest star, which winked back.

That night, Lily fell asleep with her magic hat on her pillow, knowing that the best adventures begin with curiosity and courage. And somewhere in the stars, a very happy bull was running through constellations, already planning her next visit.
