The Starry Bull's Secret
Lila loved lying on the soft grass at night, watching the stars dance above her grandmother's farm. One warm evening, something magical happened. A great bull made of twinkling stars descended from the sky, his hooves leaving trails of silver light as he touched the ground.
"Hello, little one," the Starry Bull said, his voice like gentle thunder. "I've lost something precious, and I need your help."
Lila's eyes widened with wonder. "What did you lose?"
"A golden papaya," the bull explained. "It fell from my constellation during the meteor shower. Without it, my herd cannot guide lost travelers through the night sky."
Lila jumped up eagerly. "I'll help you find it!"
Together they searched the farm. Lila looked under the orange trees while the Starry Bull peeked behind the old barn. Just as they were about to give up, Lila spotted something glowing near the palm tree by the pond. There it was—the golden papaya, shimmering like captured sunlight!
"You found it!" The Starry Bull dipped his massive head gratefully. "You have proven yourself kind and brave. As a reward, I shall grant you one wish."
Lila thought carefully. Then she gently placed her small palm on the bull's starry nose. "I wish that every lost traveler could always find their way home, just like you found your papaya."
The Starry Bull's eyes twinkled brighter than ever. "Your heart is more precious than any golden fruit. From this night forward, anyone who looks up at my constellation will feel hope guiding them home."
That night, Lila watched as the bull galloped back into the sky, the golden papaya clutched gently in his glowing mouth. To this day, whenever travelers feel lost, they look up at the bull constellation and remember: kindness lights the way home.
