The Starry Bridge

Lily loved her grandpa's farm. Every summer, she'd run through golden fields, chase butterflies, and help feed the animals. But this year, something magical happened.

One night, Lily sat on the porch with her parents' old iPhone, watching the stars twinkle. Suddenly, a shooting star streaked across the sky — straight toward the barn!

Lily jumped up and ran after it. In the barn, she found something amazing: a glowing silver cable stretched from the roof all the way up to the heavens, shimmering like moonlight.

"Whoa!" Lily whispered.

Suddenly, the barn door creaked open. A massive bull stepped inside — but this wasn't just any bull. His coat was midnight blue with constellations shining in his fur, and his horns glowed like crescent moons.

"I'm Orion," the bull said gently. "And you've found the Starry Bridge."

"What's the Starry Bridge?" Lily asked, her eyes wide.

"It connects our world to the sky kingdom," Orion explained. "But it's broken. Someone needs to climb up and fix it, or the stars will fall forever."

Lily looked at the silver cable. It seemed to go on forever.

"I'm just a kid," she said. "How can I help?"

Orion smiled. "Even small hands can do big things. Take your device — it has a special light that can mend the bridge."

Lily's iPhone had started glowing too! She held it up, and a beam of warm gold light shot out, wrapping around the broken part of the cable. The silver threads knit together, sparkling and shining brighter than ever.

"You did it!" Orion cheered. "You saved the stars!"

The bull lowered his magnificent head. "Climb on my back, little star-friend. I'll show you something wonderful."

Lily carefully climbed onto Orion's back, and together they soared up the Starry Bridge! She saw galaxies swirl like cosmic cotton candy, met friendly moon rabbits who made star-cheese, and even waved at sleeping cloud giants.

When they returned to the barn, Orion nuzzled Lily's hand.

"Thank you for believing in magic," he said. "Remember: courage isn't about being big or strong. It's about having a brave heart, even when you're small."

Lily hugged the starry bull goodnight. She climbed into bed, her iPhone sleeping on the nightstand, dreaming of her next adventure among the stars.

And sometimes, if you look very closely at the night sky, you can still see the Starry Bridge shining — and a brave little girl riding on a bull made of constellations, protecting the magic for everyone who believes.
