The Starlight Vitamin Pool
Lily loved exploring the forest behind her house. Every afternoon after school, she would wander through the towering trees, looking for adventures. One day, she discovered something she had never seen before—a small, shimmering pool hidden in a clearing she had never noticed.
The water wasn't blue like a normal swimming pool. It sparkled with tiny lights that danced and swirled like captured stars. Lily knelt beside it and saw her reflection smiling back at her. But then something magical happened. Her reflection winked!
"Hello!" said the reflection-creature, who popped right out of the water. She was a tiny girl made entirely of starlight, with hair that flowed like a silver ribbon.
"I'm Stella," the starlight girl said. "Would you like to try my special pool? It's a vitamin pool!"
"A vitamin pool?" Lily asked, her eyes wide.
"Yes!" Stella explained. "Every night, stars fall into this pool and their light turns into the best vitamin in the world—the vitamin of courage! One sip gives you bravery for a whole day."
Lily thought about the scary math test tomorrow and the big presentation she had to give. She took a small sip of the sparkling water. It tasted like sunshine and peppermint!
Suddenly, Lily felt warm and strong inside. "Thank you, Stella!" she said.
Stella smiled. "You're welcome, new friend!"
The next day, Lily raised her hand first in math class. She gave her presentation with a clear, loud voice. When her classmates clapped, she felt like she was glowing like Stella's pool.
That afternoon, Lily ran back to the forest with something in her pocket—a small bag of her favorite cookies. She found Stella waiting by the magical pool.
"For you," Lily said, sharing her cookies with her new friend.
Stella's eyes sparkled. "Friendship is the best vitamin of all!"
From that day on, Lily visited the starlight vitamin pool whenever she needed courage. And she learned that the real magic wasn't just in the water—it was in having a friend who believed in you.
The pool still shines in the forest, waiting for any child who needs a little extra vitamin of courage—and a little extra magic.
