The Starlight Vitamin

Milo woke up before the sun, his heart fluttering with excitement. Today was the day he would finally find the legendary Moon Berry that grew deep in Whispering Woods. His best friend Luna had been too weak to play for weeks, and the old healer said only the starlight vitamin from these magical berries could help her feel strong again.

The forest was dark and mysterious, filled with twinkling fireflies that guided Milo's path. He could hear the gentle sound of running water somewhere ahead – the Crystal Stream that led to the hidden grove where the Moon Berries grew only once a year, when the first rays of dawn touched their petals.

Milo followed the stream, skipping over smooth stones and pushing through ferns that sparkled with morning dew. His legs grew tired from running, but he kept going, thinking of Luna's smile.

Suddenly, the trees opened into a secret glade. There, glowing softly in the predawn light, was a single bush with translucent blue berries. Each one pulsed like a tiny heartbeat, filled with pure starlight vitamin that could make anyone feel better.

But Milo wasn't the only one who wanted them. A small forest sprite with wings like a dragonfly hovered near the berries.

"These are for Luna," Milo said firmly, holding out his hand. "She's my best friend, and she needs magic to feel well again."

The sprite studied him with wise, ancient eyes. Then she did something surprising – she dipped a leaf into the running water beside them, creating a cup filled with sparkling liquid. She dropped one Moon Berry inside, and the water turned rainbow-colored.

"The vitamin works best with water," the sprite seemed to say without speaking. "And with friendship."

Milo carried the magical water carefully all the way back, running faster than ever as the sun began to rise. When Luna drank it, her cheeks turned pink and she sat up for the first time in weeks.

"Did you find the magic?" she asked.

Milo grinned. "I found something even better – magic that comes from friendship."
