The Starlight Vitamin

Luna was a small black cat with bright yellow eyes, and Barnaby was a clumsy golden retriever with one ear that always flopped over his nose. They were the best of friends in the whole world.

One night, while their family slept, Luna and Barnaby discovered something amazing. A tiny, glowing blue bottle had fallen from the sky right into their backyard. Inside sparkled the most extraordinary thing they'd ever seen — a single starlight vitamin, shimmering like captured moonlight.

"What do you think it does?" Barnaby asked, his tail wagging so hard his whole body wiggled.

Luna pawed at the bottle curiously. "Maybe it gives you special powers!"

But then something magical happened. The bottle unrolled itself into a tiny letter: "This starlight vitamin is for whoever needs it most. It grants one wish to help a friend in need."

Just then, they heard a tiny sneeze from under the porch. A little mouse named Pip was curled in a corner, looking very sick and weak. He had been searching for food all winter but couldn't find enough to stay strong.

Luna and Barnaby looked at each other. They could have used the starlight vitamin to give themselves amazing powers — to fly, to talk, to become super pets!

"Pip needs it more than we do," Luna said softly.

"But we could be superheroes!" Barnaby's eyes widened.

"True friends help each other," Luna replied. "That's the real magic."

Together, the cat and dog carried the glowing vitamin to Pip. As soon as the little mouse ate it, something wonderful happened. The starlight vitamin didn't just make Pip healthy — it made the whole garden bloom! Beautiful flowers sprang up everywhere, providing food for all the little creatures.

That night, as Luna and Barnaby curled up together to sleep, they discovered something even better than superpowers. The stars twinkled extra bright, as if winking at them. And in their hearts, they felt a warm, glowing feeling that no vitamin could ever match — the feeling of true friendship and kindness.
