The Starlight Pyramid
Lily loved exploring her grandmother's attic, filled with dusty treasures and whispered secrets. One rainy afternoon, she found something peculiar—a small brass pyramid that hummed with warmth when she touched it.
"What's this?" she whispered, her curls tickling her cheek as she leaned closer. The pyramid glowed golden, and suddenly, a tiny cat appeared, no bigger than her thumb, with fur that sparkled like constellations.
"I'm Luna," the cat meowed. "I guard the Starlight Pyramid. Come, Lily—we have an adventure waiting!"
With a sparkle, the pyramid grew tall enough to walk through. Inside was a magical garden where vegetables grew on crystal trees. Luna led her to a patch of emerald leaves. "Starlight spinach," she explained. "One bite gives you courage."
But before Lily could taste it, the ground trembled. A massive bull with a coat like storm clouds charged toward them. Lily's heart raced.
"The Bull of Doubts!" Luna cried. "He appears when children feel afraid."
The bull snorted, his eyes questioning. Lily remembered her grandmother's words: *True courage isn't never being scared. It's being brave even when you ARE scared.*
She stood tall, her wild hair flowing like a banner. "We're not afraid of you! We're explorers!"
The bull stopped. His stormy coat softened to gentle gray, and he bowed his magnificent head.
"I was once a real bull," he said softly. "But I forgot how to be brave. Will you teach me?"
Lily smiled and offered him the starlight spinach. As he ate, his transformation was magical—great wings sprouted from his shoulders, and his coat turned to golden starlight.
"Now I'm the Bull of Courage," he said proudly. "And I'll carry you both home."
Soaring through the night sky, Luna purred on Lily's shoulder, and the bull's wings sparkled against the stars. When they returned to the attic, the small brass pyramid was just a pyramid again—but now Lily knew its secret.
Some treasures are magical indeed, but the greatest magic lives inside your heart, waiting to be discovered whenever you need it most.
