The Starlight Garden

Lila lived in a small cottage at the edge of the Whispering Woods. Every night, she would press her hand against the rough bark of the ancient **palm** tree that grew just outside her window—it was the only one for miles, and her grandmother had planted it as a seedling years ago.

One starry evening, as Lila's palm touched the tree, something magical happened. The palm tree began to glow with soft golden light, and its trunk twisted like a rope ladder reaching up to the sky.

"Come up, little one," a gentle voice rumbled from above.

Lila climbed the glowing trunk until she reached a secret garden floating among the clouds. There she met Barnaby, a round, fuzzy **bear"** who tended a garden of crystallized flowers that chimed like tiny bells in the breeze.

"We need your help," Barnaby said sadly. "The Starry **Bull** who guards the night sky has lost his way. Without him, children can't make wishes on falling stars."

Lila's heart swelled with courage. "I'll help find him!"

Together, Lila and Barnaby followed a trail of stardust across the cloud meadows until they found the great Starry Bull trapped in a thicket of nightmares—tangled vines of fear and doubt that had wrapped around his magnificent silver horns.

"I tried to chase away the dark thoughts," the Bull mooed softly, "but they were too many."

Lila stepped forward and placed her palm on the Bull's shimmering nose. "You don't have to do it alone. Friends help each other."

Barnaby used his strong claws to snip the vines while Lila whispered words of encouragement to the Bull. With each kind word, the nightmare vines withered into flowers of hope.

Free at last, the Starry Bull lowered his head in gratitude. "You've taught me something important," he said. "Even the strongest among us need help sometimes."

That night, children everywhere wished upon stars that shone brighter than ever before. And every evening, Lila would climb her magic palm tree to visit her friends—learning that true bravery isn't about facing fears alone, but about finding the courage to ask for help when you need it most.
