The Starlight Bull's Secret
Lila loved the old coconut palm in her backyard. Every night, she pressed her hand against its rough trunk and whispered her dreams. One full moon, something magical happened. The palm's leaves began to glow like fireflies, and suddenly—a magnificent bull made of stardust trotted down from the sky!
"I'm the Starlight Bull," he said with a voice like gentle wind chimes. "I've swum across the Milky Way Ocean to find a brave friend."
Lila's eyes widened. "Swimming in stars?"
"Indeed!" The Starlight Bull lowered his sparkling golden horn. "Climb on my back, and I'll show you wonders beyond imagination."
Lila scrambled up, clutching his soft starry fur. Up they soared, past the moon, through clouds that tasted like cotton candy. Soon they reached the Milky Way Ocean, where she met a friendly polar bear named Borealis who was swimming through constellations, catching moonbeams in his paws.
"I've been waiting for you!" Borealis called, diving into a splash of glittering star-dust. "Come swim with us!"
Lila slid into the magical waters, discovering she could breathe underwater. She saw starfish that sang, fish made of rainbows, and underwater castles built from wishes. The three friends played hide-and-seek among nebulas and had tea parties on floating asteroids.
But as dawn approached, the Starlight Bull said, "It's time to return, little dreamer. But remember—magic lives where kindness dwells."
Back in her room, Lila found something shimmering in her palm—a piece of starlight that glowed whenever she was brave, kind, or true. The old palm tree winked at her, its leaves still tingling with stardust.
Now every night, Lila looks up at the stars and waves, knowing her friends are swimming through the galaxy, waiting for the next dreamer brave enough to believe in magic. And sometimes, just sometimes, she hears the distant sound of starry hooves trotting across the Milky Way Ocean, calling her name on the breeze of imagination.
