The Starlight Bull's Magical Game

Lila loved visiting her grandmother's house by the sea. Every morning, she'd climb the giant palm tree in the backyard and pretend she was captain of a ship sailing to magical islands.

One Tuesday morning, something extraordinary happened. As Lila reached the top of the palm tree, she saw not the ocean, but a shimmering golden island floating in the sky. And standing on it was the most magnificent creature she'd ever seen—a giant bull with stars twinkling in his fur like a galaxy come to life.

"Hello there!" called the Starlight Bull, his voice warm and rumbly like distant thunder. "I'm in a bit of a pickle. My island's magic vitamins have fallen into the Cloud Kingdom below, and without them, all the star-flowers will fade away."

Lila's eyes widened. "How can I help?"

"Well," said the Bull, "the Cloud King loves games. If we beat him at padel—his favorite magical game—he'll return the vitamins. But I haven't played in centuries, and my hooves are too clumsy for the flying paddle."

"I play padel with my dad!" Lila exclaimed. "I'll help you win!"

The Bull gently lifted Lila onto his back, and together they soared through cotton-candy clouds to the Cloud Kingdom. The Cloud King, fluffy and white as a marshmallow, handed them a glowing paddle.

"Best of three wins!" the King announced.

The game began! The ball was made of rainbow light that changed color with every hit. Lila and the Bull worked together—she'd aim perfectly while the Bull used his starry nose to boost her hits higher and higher. They laughed as they dove and jumped, the paddle humming with magic in Lila's hands.

They won the final point just as the sun began to set. True to his word, the Cloud King returned a jar of sparkling vitamins.

"Thank you, Lila," said the Starlight Bull, dropping her back at her grandmother's palm tree. "You taught me something important—sometimes the best magic comes from working together with friends, no matter how different they may be."

That night, Lila fell asleep dreaming of starry bulls and magical games, her heart full of wonder and the knowing that the best adventures are the ones we share with friends.
