The Starlight Bull's Golden Gift
Lily loved visiting her grandmother's farm, especially on nights when the stars twinkled like tiny lanterns in the sky. But tonight felt different. The air hummed with magic, and her curly red hair seemed to sparkle with its own light.
"Grandma, what's that sound?" Lily whispered, clutching her stuffed rabbit. A strange thumping rhythm came from the meadow—bump-thump, bump-thump, bump-thump.
Grandma smiled, her eyes twinkling. "Ah, my dear. Tonight is special. The Starlight Bull is visiting."
"A bull? Like the ones in the pasture?"
"Oh no, sweet child. This is no ordinary bull." Grandma led Lily outside to the moonlit meadow.
There, dancing in the silver moonlight, was the most magnificent creature Lily had ever seen. The bull's coat shimmered with stardust, his horns were made of moonbeams, and his eyes held the wisdom of a thousand years. But the most wonderful thing was what he was doing—he was playing padel!
Beside him stood a tiny, glowing creature named Padel, no bigger than Lily's hand. Padel had wings like a dragonfly and bounced a magical ball against an invisible wall. *Bing-bong!* The ball made musical notes when it hit.
"Would you like to play?" the Starlight Bull's voice rumbled softly, like distant thunder wrapped in velvet.
Lily nodded, her heart pounding with excitement. She joined the magical game, hitting the singing ball with her palm. Each time she struck it, golden particles filled the air, swirling around her.
"Your hair!" Padel squeaked delightedly. "Look at your hair!"
Lily gasped. Her curly red locks had turned to flowing strands of pure gold, shimmering down her back like a waterfall of sunshine.
"This is my gift to you," the Starlight Bull said gently. "But remember—the magic works only when you share it."
Lily understood. She reached out and touched Padel's tiny wing, then the bull's starry nose. Golden light spread to them both.
"Thank you," she whispered. But as she spoke, the magical creatures began to fade.
"We'll meet again," the bull promised. "Whenever you need us, just look at the stars."
Lily woke up in her bed, sunlight streaming through the window. Had it all been a dream? She ran to the mirror. Her hair was still red—but now, when she moved her head, tiny sparkles danced in the light, and she knew that magic was real, and the best gifts are the ones you share.
From that day on, Lily became known as the girl who brought magic wherever she went, sharing kindness like stardust, and always remembering the night she played padel under the stars with her enchanted friends.
