The Starlight Bear's Gift

Lily loved running through the Whispering Woods, her long brown hair streaming behind her like a chocolate river. Every evening at sunset, she'd race the wind, her feet dancing over mossy stones and fallen leaves.

One特别 evening, something magical happened. As Lily rounded the ancient oak tree, she saw him—a glowing bear made entirely of starlight, his fur twinkling like a thousand captured diamonds.

"You're the fastest runner I've ever seen," the bear spoke, his voice sounding like gentle rain on a tin roof. "I'm Orion, and I've been watching you from the stars."

Lily's eyes grew wide as full moons. "You can talk? And you're made of STARS?"

"I come from the Great Bear constellation," Orion explained. "But I've grown lonely in the sky. Down here, I can finally have adventures." His luminous paw gently patted Lily's hair. "Your hair reminds me of comet tails trailing through space."

From that night on, Lily and Orion became the best of friends. They ran together through moonlit meadows, played tag with fireflies, and had picnics of moonberries and starcake.

But Orion had a secret gift. One night, as Lily sat combing her hair, Orion pressed his starry paw to her forehead. Suddenly, she could see the world as he did—every person had their own inner glow, like tiny stars inside them.

"Now you can see what I see," Orion whispered. "Everyone carries their own light. Some just need help letting it shine."

Lily understood. The next day at school, she noticed shy Marcus's gentle golden glow, angry Tasha's flickering blue flame that just needed kindness, and even grumpy Mr. Higgins's dim but steady warmth.

That's when Lily discovered her true gift—not just running fast, but helping others find their own light. And every night, Orion the starlight bear watched from above, his constellation heart glowing proudly for his dear friend below.
