The Starlight Baseball

Timmy was a small boy with a big dream - he wanted to play baseball like the big kids in his neighborhood. But he was too little, and his arms were too weak. Every night, he wished upon the brightest star for help.

One magical night, his toy bear began to wiggle and stretch. "I'm Barnaby!" the bear announced, shaking soft brown fur. "And I know where you'll find the starlight vitamin that will make your dreams come true!"

Together, they tiptoed to the meadow under moonlight. There, a magnificent bull with a coat like spun silver stood patiently, tossing a glowing baseball up and catching it in a cloud-shaped mitt. The bull's eyes twinkled like galaxies.

"This is the Starlight Bull," Barnaby whispered. "Catch the baseball, Timmy! Each catch gives you a dose of courage vitamin!"

Timmy's heart raced. The bull tossed the glowing ball - it sailed through the night sky like a shooting star. Timmy stretched his arms, jumped, and caught it! Warm tingles rushed through his fingers, up his arms, into his heart. He felt stronger!

"Again!" Timmy shouted. They played until dawn - bull, bear, and boy - under the watching stars. Each catch filled Timmy with wonder, each throw sparked joy.

When morning came, the bull touched Timmy's forehead with its velvety nose. "The real vitamin isn't in the baseball," it whispered. "It's in believing in yourself."

Timmy looked at his hands - they looked the same, but everything felt different. He wasn't just little Timmy anymore. He was Timmy who had played baseball with a magical bull under starlight.

That day, Timmy joined the neighborhood game. And though he was still the smallest player, he played with the courage of a thousand starlit catches.

Barnaby sat on Timmy's shelf that night, a regular toy again. But Timmy knew - whenever he needed courage, the Starlight Bull would be waiting in his dreams, baseball ready.
