The Star-Vitamin Bull

Leo lived on a quiet farm where the only sound was the wind whistling through the cornstalks. He had no brothers or sisters, and the nearest neighbor was miles away. Every evening, he watched the sun dip behind the hills and wished for someone to share his adventures.

One rainy afternoon, Leo's grandmother handed him a dusty orange bottle. "These are special vitamins," she whispered with a twinkle in her eye. "Made from starlight and dreams. They might show you something magical."

Leo was curious. He popped one round, glowing tablet into his mouth. Suddenly, the world began to sparkle! The raindrops turned into tiny diamonds, and the mud puddles became pools of liquid rainbow.

From behind the old red barn, a small bull stepped forward. He was no bigger than a puppy, with golden fur that shimmered like honey in sunlight. His horns were twisted into spirals that looked like cinnamon rolls.

"Hello!" said the bull. "I'm Barnaby, and I've been waiting for someone to take a star-vitamin! Now you can see me!"

Leo's eyes grew wide. "You can talk?"

"Of course!" Barnaby trotted closer. "I'm the Guardian of the Star-Vitamin Garden. Only those who believe in magic can see me. And now, you're my friend!"

Together they explored places Leo had never noticed before. Behind the chicken coop was a secret meadow where butterflies sang opera songs. Under the apple tree, tiny elves painted each apple with different colors. And in the pond, fish gave riding lessons to frogs.

"Why did you hide?" Leo asked as they sat on a fence watching the sunset.

Barnaby sighed. "People stopped believing in magic. They stopped looking for wonder. But you, Leo—you have something special. You never stopped being curious."

The bull nudged Leo's hand with his soft nose. "That's why the star-vitamins work for you. Friendship and magic go together like sunshine and flowers."

Leo learned something wonderful that day. The best vitamin for your heart is having a friend who sees the world with you. And magic isn't gone—it's just waiting for someone curious enough to find it.

Every evening after that, Leo took a star-vitamin and visited Barnaby. They had adventures, laughed until their bellies hurt, and discovered that the greatest magic of all was simply being a friend.
