The Star-Bull's Secret Pool

Lily was skipping stones across the backyard pool when something magical happened. The water began to glow with soft silver light, rippling even though there was no wind. Curious, she leaned closer, and suddenly a warm tingle spread through the palm of her hand.

A tiny sparkly dragonfly no bigger than her thumb flew out from the pool's center and landed gently on her nose.

"Help!" squeaked the dragonfly. "Star-Bull is stuck!"

Lily's heart raced with excitement. A real adventure! She grabbed her old iPhone from the porch—her parents had given it to her for games, but now the screen showed something amazing: a glittering map of constellations.

"Follow me!" the dragonfly zoomed toward the garden.

Lily rushed past the rose bushes and found something wonderful beside the old oak tree. A magnificent bull with fur like starlight and horns that glowed golden was tangled in the grapevines. But this wasn't scary—it was the most beautiful creature she had ever seen.

"Oh no!" Lily cried. "Are you hurt?"

The Star-Bull's eyes shone like moons. "Only stuck, brave friend. I fell from the sky while chasing a comet."

The dragonfly hovered nearby. "The magic pool can send him home, but we need to work together!"

Lily's palm still tingled with warm light. She pressed it against the Star-Bull's shoulder, and suddenly golden sparkles flowed between them. The bull's fur began to glow even brighter.

"Hold on tight!" Lily called.

Together—girl, dragonfly, and Star-Bull—made their way to the glowing pool. The water rose up in a beautiful spiral, lifting them higher and higher. Wind rushed through Lily's hair, and the iPhone showed the constellation map lighting up with joy.

"Thank you, Lily," the Star-Bull said, his voice like distant thunder. "You showed me that kindness is the strongest magic of all."

He soared into the night sky, becoming the brightest star in the Taurus constellation.

That night, Lily fell asleep with a smile. She didn't need her iPhone to see magic anymore. It was in her heart all along, waiting to shine like the stars.
