The Star Bull's Secret Gift

Lily lived in a house with a palm tree in the backyard. Every night, she would press her palm against the rough bark and whisper her dreams to the leaves.

One summer evening, as the stars began to twinkle, something magical happened. The brightest star in the sky started to wiggle, then stretch, until it tumbled down like a sparkling teardrop.

When it landed in Lily's palm, it wasn't a star at all — it was a tiny bull made of golden light! The bull shook itself and grew until it was the size of a puppy, with constellation patterns shimmering across its back.

"I'm Orion," the bull said with a voice like wind chimes. "I've been watching you talk to the palm tree. You're lonely, aren't you?"

Lily nodded, surprised this magical creature knew her heart. "I just moved here. I haven't made any friend yet."

Orion's constellation eyes softened. "I can help. But first, you need something special."

He nudged the palm tree with his golden nose, and suddenly, one of the coconuts began to glow. It split open, revealing not coconut milk, but a small, rainbow-colored orb.

"This is a star vitamin," Orion explained. "One taste, and you'll see what's really in people's hearts — their kindness, their dreams, their need for a friend too."

Lily took the magical vitamin. It tasted like sunshine and wishes. Suddenly, the world transformed. She could see golden threads connecting hearts — her neighbor's kindness, her classmate's hidden loneliness, her teacher's warm love for helping.

The next day at school, Lily saw a boy sitting alone, his heart-thread glowing with the same loneliness she'd felt. She sat beside him.

"Hi, I'm Lily. Want to be friend?" she asked.

The boy's face lit up like Orion's constellation pattern. "I'm Marcus. I'd love that!"

That night, Orion returned to the sky, but Lily wasn't lonely anymore. She had discovered that the best magic isn't in stars or vitamins — it's in the courage to reach out and the warmth of friendship.

Sometimes, if you look carefully at the palm tree in her yard, you can still see a tiny golden bull sleeping among the leaves, watching over the friends who found each other under his guidance.
