The Star Bull's Secret Game
Leo loved exploring his grandmother's attic. Every Saturday, he'd climb the creaky wooden stairs and discover treasures: dusty books, old photographs, and mysterious boxes.
One rainy afternoon, Leo found something curious behind a stack of quilts—a thick black cable that seemed to glow faintly in the dim light. Unlike any cable he'd ever seen, this one shimmered like it held captured starlight.
"What do you suppose you do?" Leo whispered.
He gave the cable a gentle tug. Suddenly, the attic walls dissolved into swirls of silver mist. Standing before him was the most magnificent creature Leo had ever seen—a bull made entirely of golden light, his horns gleaming like crescent moons.
"You found my star-cable!" the bull rumbled kindly. "I'm Taurus, guardian of the Constellation Realm. I've been looking for that cable for three hundred years!"
Leo's eyes widened. "You're from the stars?"
"Indeed! And as a reward for your help, I'll show you my favorite place." Taurus lowered his shining head. "Climb on, little friend. We're going running!"
Leo scrambled onto the star bull's back, and WHOOSH—they shot upward through clouds that tasted like cotton candy. Below, Earth became a blue marble wrapped in ribbons of white.
They arrived at a magical court floating in space, where stars bounced like rubber balls. "Welcome to my padel court!" Taurus announced.
"You play padel?" Leo laughed.
"The stars invented it!" Taurus handed Leo a paddle made from comet dust. They played an epic game under watchful constellations, hitting shooting stars back and forth. Leo had never felt so free, so alive.
"Time to go home," Taurus said gently as the first hints of morning colored the sky. "But remember, Leo—friendship is the strongest magic in the universe. It connects us like an invisible cable, bridging any distance."
Back in the attic, the cable now hung harmlessly on the wall. But sometimes, on clear nights, Leo would spot Taurus running across the sky, his golden form leaving sparkly trails, and he'd wave, knowing his star friend was always there—connected by the magical cable of friendship between them.
