The Star Bull's Secret Friend
Lily gazed out her bedroom window, clutching her toy bull. The stars twinkled like tiny fireflies. She noticed something strange—a shimmering golden cable stretched from her window straight up into the night sky, glowing with soft rainbow colors.
"What is that?" Lily whispered. Her toy bull seemed to wink at her.
Curious and brave, Lily opened her window and touched the magical cable. It felt warm, like sunshine. She tugged it gently, and sparkling stars rained down around her. The cable pulsed with a friendly hum, as if saying, "Come play!"
Lily's heart raced with excitement. This was an adventure! She climbed onto the windowsill and wrapped her hands around the glowing cable. Up, up, up she floated, like a bubble on a breeze, higher than the tallest tree, higher than the clouds.
Suddenly, she landed on something soft and furry. It wasn't a cloud at all—it was a magnificent creature with golden fur that shone like starlight. A great big bull with gentle, wise eyes.
"Hello, little friend," the bull said softly. His voice sounded like distant thunder, warm and kind. "I've been waiting for someone like you."
"You can talk!" Lily gasped. "And I have a bull toy at home!"
The Star Bull laughed, a sound like wind chimes. "I am Taurus, guardian of the constellation. For many years, I've watched over Earth, but I've never had a friend to visit. The magical cable only appears for children with kind hearts."
Lily realized the bull looked lonely despite his beautiful star-filled home. "I'll be your friend!" she promised. "And my toy bull would love to meet you too."
Taurus's eyes sparkled with joy. He showed Lily the universe—dancing constellations, comets that painted colors across space, and planets that hummed sleepy songs. They played tag among the stars until the sky began to lighten.
"Time to go home, little friend," Taurus said kindly. "But remember—the cable will always be here when you dream of adventures. True friendship connects hearts across any distance."
Lily slid down the magical cable, landing softly on her bed. Her toy bull sat exactly where she'd left it—or had it moved? Its eyes seemed to shine a bit brighter now.
That night, Lily fell asleep with a smile. She had discovered something wonderful: friendship could be found in the most unexpected places, even among the stars, and sometimes the most magical adventures begin with being brave enough to say hello.
