The Star Bull's Secret

Luna loved running through the meadow behind her house, especially at twilight when the sky turned purple and gold. She ran until her cheeks glowed pink and her breath formed tiny clouds in the cooling air.

One evening, something extraordinary happened. A soft glow appeared near the old oak tree. Luna crept closer, her heart pounding with excitement. There, tangled in the roots, sat the most unusual creature she had ever seen—a small bull made entirely of shimmering stardust, his horns glowing like tiny moons.

"Hello," whispered Luna, kneeling down. "Are you hurt?"

The star bull twinkled like constellations come to life. He nudged her hand with his nose, and Luna felt a warm, sparkly feeling spread through her fingers. In that moment, she knew they would be friends forever.

"I'm Orion," the bull seemed to say without speaking, his thoughts flowing into her mind like starlight. "I fell from the sky while chasing a comet. I need to find the Star Lake to recharge my magic."

Luna stood up, determination shining in her eyes. "I know where the lake is! But we must hurry—the stars are already waking up."

Together, they set off, running through fields that seemed to glow beneath their feet. The grass whispered secrets as they passed, and fireflies danced around them like tiny lanterns. Orion's hooves left trails of glitter wherever he stepped.

Finally, they reached the hidden lake, its surface smooth as glass and reflecting a billion stars. But there was one problem—Orion had never tried swimming before.

"Don't worry," Luna said gently. "I'll teach you. Swimming is like dancing with water."

Orion stepped cautiously into the lake. At first, he splashed awkwardly, sending silver droplets flying everywhere. But with Luna's encouragement, he soon found his rhythm. He glided through the water, his starlight growing brighter with every stroke. The lake transformed around him, glowing with magic as ancient as the universe itself.

"You did it!" Luna cheered, clapping her hands.

Orion emerged from the water, now shining more brilliantly than ever. "Thank you, Luna," he said. "You showed me that trying something new leads to the most wonderful adventures."

As dawn approached, Orion soared back into the sky, becoming a new constellation that would always watch over Luna. Now, whenever she went running through the meadow, she would look up and see her friend, forever swimming through the river of stars, reminding her that true friendship knows no boundaries—not even the distance between earth and sky.
