The Star Bull's Secret

iphonepadelbullpool

Leo wiped the sand from his old **iphone**, the screen flickering like a captured firefly. His dad had given him the ancient phone, but it never worked. Until today.

Leo was at the community **pool**, his **padel** racket leaning against the fence. He'd been practicing serves against the wall when something tumbled from the sky—something that splashed right into the deep end.

He swam out and found it: a small, glowing constellation shaped like a **bull**. The stars in its body twinkled underwater, and when Leo pulled it into his palm, the constellation spoke.

"Thank you, young one," said the bull in a voice like distant thunder. "I'm Taurus, fallen from the night sky. I need help returning home before dawn breaks."

Leo's iphone suddenly crackled to life, displaying a moving map of constellations. "I think it can guide us!" Leo exclaimed.

Together, boy and star bull climbed to the highest hill in town. The iphone glowed brighter as they ascended, showing the exact spot in the sky where Taurus belonged.

"But how will you get back up?" Leo asked.

"You must throw me," said Taurus. "Trust yourself, and believe."

Leo's hands trembled, holding the glowing constellation. He remembered his **padel** coach saying, "Confidence comes from within." He took a deep breath, imagined all the strength inside him, and threw Taurus toward the heavens.

The bull streaked upward, trailing stardust, until it joined the night sky with a brilliant flash.

The iphone's screen went dark, but Leo didn't mind. He'd made a friend among the stars, and that was better than any phone.

That night, from his window, Leo saw Taurus shining brighter than all the other stars, blinking what looked like a thank-you message. Leo smiled, knowing magic was real, and sometimes the old things—the forgotten phones, the ancient constellations—held the greatest wonders of all.
