The Star Bull's Secret
Lily loved running through the meadow at dusk, when the sky turned purple and the first stars peeked out. But lately, the stars had been dim, like little nightlights flickering out.
One evening, while running her favorite path, she heard something heavy approaching. A great bull emerged from the mist—but not an ordinary bull. His fur was silver as moonlight, and his horns shimmered like captured starlight.
"Please help," the bull rumbled softly. "I am Orion, the Star Bull. The stars are losing their glow because someone stole the Great Vitamin from the Cloud Castle."
"What's a Great Vitamin?" Lily asked, eyes wide.
"It's what keeps the stars healthy and bright," Orion explained. "Without it, the night sky will go dark forever. Will you help me find it?"
Lily nodded bravely. She climbed onto Orion's back, and they began running—faster than any horse, faster than the wind itself! They galloped across rainbow bridges, soared through cotton-candy clouds, and raced over mountains made of sparkling crystal.
Finally, they reached the Cloud Castle, where a greedy Shadow Sprite was hiding the Great Vitamin in a dark jar.
"I want all the starlight for myself!" the sprite hissed.
Lily thought quickly. "But stars are friends to everyone. They guide travelers, light up dreams, and make wishes come true. Don't you have wishes?"
The Shadow Sprite paused. "I... I wish I could sparkle too."
"Then share the light!" Lily said. "The more you give, the brighter you shine."
The sprite looked at the glowing vitamin in the jar, then at the darkening sky beyond the castle window. Slowly, he opened the jar and released the Great Vitamin—a golden dust that swirled upward like magic fireflies.
Orion caught the glowing dust in his silver horns and carried it to the heavens. One by one, the stars began to twinkle again, brighter than ever.
"Thank you," the sprite whispered, now shimmering with a soft light of his own.
Lily learned something wonderful that night: the real vitamin that keeps the world bright isn't something you swallow—it's kindness, shared freely. And sometimes, the bravest thing you can do is run toward adventure with an open heart.
