The Star Bull's Secret

Lily loved climbing to the old hill behind her house at sunset. One evening, as orange and pink clouds painted the sky, she saw something magical—a great bull made entirely of stardust, trotting across the horizon.

"Wait!" Lily called, running after the glittering creature. The star bull paused, its hooves leaving glowing footprints. It lowered its head, and Lily climbed onto its back.

"Hold tight," the bull seemed to say without speaking, and together they soared upward into the deepening night.

They arrived at a mystical place Lily had never seen before—a glowing golden pyramid floating among the stars. At its base sat a wise sphinx with emerald eyes that twinkled like tiny galaxies.

"Welcome, young traveler," the sphinx purred. "I have guarded this pyramid for a thousand years, waiting for someone with a pure heart."

"What's inside?" Lily asked, sliding down from the star bull's back.

"The most precious treasure in all the universe," the sphinx replied mysteriously. "But you must prove yourself worthy first."

The sphinx presented Lily with a shimmering silver paddle—a magical padel that glowed with moonlight. "This padel can hit starballs into the sky. Each star you catch will teach you something important."

Lily swung the padel, and a starball sailed upward. When she caught it, she heard her mother's laughter. Another star—her father's bedtime stories. A third—her best friend's smile.

"These aren't just stars," Lily whispered. "They're memories."

"Exactly," said the sphinx, nodding wisely. "The pyramid contains the most valuable treasure: love and memory. You've proven you understand what truly matters."

The golden pyramid opened, revealing a warm light that made Lily feel safe and happy, like being hugged by everyone she loved.

"Will you visit me again?" the star bull nudged Lily gently.

"Every sunset," Lily promised, hugging its stardust neck.

When she woke in her own bed the next morning, a small silver padel charm glowed on her nightstand, and outside her window, the star bull winked from the clouds.

Lily smiled, knowing magic was real, and the best treasures weren't things you could hold—they were the people you loved.
