The Star Bull's Journey Home
Lily discovered something peculiar in her grandmother's attic—a purple velvet hat adorned with tiny silver stars. When she placed it on her head, the attic transformed into a meadow filled with sparkling flowers.
In the center of the meadow stood a magnificent creature—a great white bull whose horns glowed like moonlight. But this bull looked sad, his eyes drooping like wilting flowers.
"I fell from the sky," the bull rumbled softly. "I am Taurus, a star who lost my way. Without my constellation, the night sky is incomplete."
Lily's heart swelled with compassion. She placed her palm gently on the bull's glowing forehead. Warmth spread through her hand, and suddenly she understood—she could help him find his way home.
But how? The bull was too heavy to lift, and the sky seemed impossibly far away. Then Lily remembered—she had left her iPhone in her pocket! Even in this magical place, it still worked.
She opened the star map app she'd used for science class. Tiny constellations lit up the screen, showing exactly where Taurus belonged in the night sky. The bull's eyes brightened as he saw his home reflected in the glowing screen.
"Thank you, small friend," the bull whispered. "Your magic box shows me the way."
Lily watched in wonder as the bull's hooves lifted from the ground, his body becoming translucent and filled with starlight. He rose higher and higher, until he joined the constellations above.
That night, Lily looked up at the sky. There he was—the bull, shining brighter than all the other stars. And from that day on, whenever she placed her palm against her bedroom window, the bull would twinkle back, as if saying hello to an old friend.
Lily learned that kindness, no matter how small, can light up the whole universe.
