The Star Bull's Journey
Lily lived on a farm where the only things that shined were the stars above. One evening, she found something peculiar in the meadow—an iPhone with a crack shaped like a crescent moon. Strange symbols danced across its screen, showing not apps, but pictures of the night sky.
Curious, Lily pointed the phone toward the stars. Suddenly, a magnificent creature stepped from the screen—a glowing bull made entirely of stardust, with constellations twinkling along its silver horns. The Star Bull looked sad and lost.
"I fell from my home in the sky," the Bull rumbled softly, sounding like distant thunder. "I need to find the Great Shepherd constellation before dawn, or I'll fade away forever."
Lily wanted to help, but she was just one small girl. Then she thought of Mateo, the new boy in school who loved space as much as she did. Maybe he would be her friend on this adventure?
Mateo's eyes widened when Lily showed him the magical iPhone and the Star Bull. "I know exactly which constellation to follow!" he exclaimed, pulling out his star chart. Together, the three friends set off across the meadow, following the Bull's glowing hoofprints that shimmered like fallen stars.
They crossed creeks and climbed hills, solving riddles the wind whispered to them. When darkness seemed too frightening, the Star Bull's light warmed their path. When Mateo stumbled, Lily caught him. When Lily felt scared, Mateo held her hand. They weren't just new friends anymore—they were a team.
Just as the first pink light touched the horizon, they found the perfect spot on a hilltop. The Star Bull bowed its head gratefully to Lily and Mateo before springing upward, trailing silver dust across the waking sky. There, shining brighter than before, the Taurus constellation winked down at them.
"Thank you for believing in magic," the stars seemed to whisper.
The iPhone's screen went dark, but Lily didn't mind. She had found something better than any app—a true friend, and the memory of a night when the impossible became possible. From then on, whenever they looked up at the stars, the Great Bull seemed to nod, reminding them that even the smallest dreams can light up the darkest sky.
