The Star Bull's Golden Cable

Lily loved exploring her grandmother's attic. One rainy afternoon, she found something she'd never noticed before — a thick, shimmering cable that seemed to glow from inside, coiled like a sleeping snake in the corner.

Grandmother smiled when Lily asked about it. "That, my dear, is the sky cable. It only appears to those who believe in magic."

Lily's heart raced. She believed! She believed in fairies, in unicorns, in wishes on stars.

That night, when the moon was bright, Lily tiptoed to the attic. The cable was uncoiling itself, stretching through the open window toward the stars. Lily grabbed on — and WHOOSH!

She was floating upward, higher and higher, until she landed on a fluffy cloud. There, waiting for her, was the most magnificent creature she had ever seen. It was a bull, but not like any bull on Earth. His fur was silver as moonlight, his horns were made of twisted stardust, and his eyes held the warmth of a thousand summers.

"I've been waiting for a friend," the bull said softly. His voice rumbled like distant thunder. "I am Taurus, keeper of the constellation. But even star creatures get lonely."

Lily wrapped her arms around his neck. "I'll be your friend!"

Taurus lowered his mighty head. "Climb aboard, little one. Let me show you my kingdom."

Together they soared through the night sky, dancing with comets and waving at planets. Taurus showed Lily the Sea of Stars, where fish made of light swam through dark waters. They visited the Cloud Castle, where dreams were stored until bedtime.

"This cable," Taurus explained, "connects your world to mine. But it only works for hearts that are brave enough to climb and kind enough to care."

When dawn approached, Taurus carried Lily back down the golden cable. "Whenever you need me, just hold the cable and believe."

Lily woke in her bed, the morning sun streaming through her window. Had it all been a dream? Then she saw it — beside her bed lay a single silver hair, glowing softly with starlight.

She knew the truth now. Magic was real, friendship was the strongest force in the universe, and somewhere among the stars, a silver bull was waiting for his friend.

And sometimes, when she looked up at the night sky, she could see Taurus winking at her, his constellation shining just a little brighter than all the others.
