The Star Bull's Baseball Game
Lily loved playing baseball in her backyard. Every afternoon, she'd practice pitching against the old oak tree. But one day, when her baseball rolled into the mysterious shed behind the garage, something magical happened.
Inside the dusty shed, Lily found her baseball glowing with soft golden light. Curious, she picked it up—and suddenly, the floor beneath her feet turned into sparkling stardust!
When she opened her eyes, Lily stood in a meadow unlike any she'd seen before. The grass shimmered like emeralds, and flowers hummed gentle tunes. In the center of the meadow stood the most beautiful creature she'd ever seen—a massive bull with a coat that sparkled like midnight sky, dotted with tiny silver stars.
"Welcome, young friend," the Star Bull said in a voice like distant thunder. "I've been waiting for someone brave enough to find our hidden field."
Lily's eyes widened. "You can talk?"
"All things can talk, if you listen with your heart," the bull replied sadly. "But I've grown too weak to guard the Star Baseball Field. I need magical star-vitamins from the Moon Garden to restore my strength."
Lily's mom had taught her about vitamins—how they keep bodies strong and healthy. Maybe magical vitamins worked the same way!
"I'll help you!" Lily said bravely.
The bull smiled. "First, you must prove your worth by hitting my special baseball to the Moon Garden."
The bull tossed a glowing baseball. Lily swung her bat with all her might—CRACK! The ball soared through purple clouds until it landed in a garden that floated among the stars.
Moments later, the baseball returned, carrying sparkling golden tablets—the star-vitamins!
As the Star Bull ate them, his silver stars grew brighter and brighter. "Thank you, Lily! Now, let's play baseball together—winner gets to make a wish!"
They played until sunset, the Star Bull hitting balls that became shooting stars. When Lily finally won, she didn't wish for toys or candy.
"I wish that everyone who plays baseball with love in their heart feels as magical as I do today."
The bull nodded proudly. "Your wish already came true. Every time you play with joy, you spread magic everywhere."
Back in her room, Lily found her regular baseball sitting on her bed. But sometimes, late at night, she could still see the Star Bull galloping across the sky, leaving trails of stardust that looked just like baseballs flying home.
