The Spy Cat and the Starry Bull
Pip was a very curious cat with soft orange fur and bright green eyes. Every night, she would creep through the tall grass and spy on the farm animals, watching their secret lives. She saw chickens gossiping, cows having pillow fights with their tails, and horses racing the moonbeams across the pasture.
One magical night, Pip spied on something extraordinary. The old bull, who usually slept peacefully, was standing under the stars. His massive horns were glowing with stardust! Pip watched in wonder as tiny wishes floated down from the sky like sparkling fireflies.
The bull caught each wish in his horns and sent it back up to the stars, where it would come true for someone somewhere in the world. A wish for a puppy. A wish for a friend. A wish for sunshine.
Suddenly, Pip's tail twitched and snapped a dry twig. The bull turned his huge head and spotted her. But instead of being angry, he smiled gently. "Hello, little spy," he whispered. "I'm Cornelius, and I could use a helper."
Pip crept closer, her eyes wide with wonder. "You catch wishes?"
"I do," Cornelius nodded. "But some wishes are very tiny and hard to see. Someone small and quick could help me."
That night, Pip and Cornelius became the best of friends. The cat caught wishes in her paws while the bull caught them in his horns. They sent hundreds of dreams shooting back into the sky.
From then on, Pip wasn't just a spy anymore. She was a wish-catcher, a star-helper, and a friend to the most magical bull in the world. And every night, they made the world a little more wonderful together.
The farmer never understood why his bull and cat were always sleepy in the mornings, or why wishes seemed to come true so often on his farm. But Pip and Cornelius knew the beautiful truth: magic happens when you work together with your friends.
