The Spinach Wizard's Magic Court

Lily's grandmother had a secret. Every morning, she sprinkled something magical into her spinach patch—glittering dust that made the leaves shimmer like captured starlight.

"What is it, Grandma?" Lily asked, kneeling beside the emerald plants.

"Starlight vitamins," Grandma whispered. "They grow only for children who believe in magic."

That afternoon, Lily popped a sparkling spinach leaf into her mouth. ZAP! Her toes tingled. Her legs felt light as feathers. She grabbed her padel racket from the porch and rushed to the park.

The neighborhood kids were playing padel on the dusty court. Lily usually watched from the bench, too shy to join. But today, her feet danced across the court like they belonged there. THWACK! She returned every ball. WHAM! Her shots sailed perfectly over the net.

"Where did you learn to play like THAT?" asked Toby, the best player in the neighborhood.

"The spinach," Lily beamed. "My grandmother's magic spinach!"

But the next morning, the spinach patch looked ordinary. The shimmer was gone. Grandma shook her head sadly. "Starlight vitamins appear only once a season. The magic is all used up."

Lily's heart sank. How could she play padel without her special power?

On the court, Toby waited. "Ready for another game?"

Lily picked up her racket, her hands trembling. But then she remembered how she'd felt—confident, strong, brave. Maybe the magic wasn't in the spinach after all. Maybe it had been inside her all along, just waiting to wake up.

THWACK! WHAM! SMASH!

Lily played better than ever. And when she high-fived Toby under the golden sunset, she knew the real magic wasn't any vitamin or enchanted leaf—it was believing in yourself.
