The Spinach Sprint of Wonder
Oliver was a small rabbit with very big ears and an even bigger curiosity. Every morning, he loved running through Meadowbrook Forest, hopping over mossy logs and darting between sun-dappled trees. His best friend was Luna, a wise old turtle who moved slowly but saw everything.
One day, while running his usual path, Oliver discovered something he'd never noticed before—a patch of vibrant green leaves growing near an ancient oak tree. "What's this?" he wondered, his nose twitching.
Luna slowly approached. "That's spinach, Oliver. It's a very special plant full of something called vitamin—it's like magic for your body!"
Olver tilted his head. "Magic?"
"Try it," Luna smiled.
Oliver nibbled one leaf. Then another. Suddenly, something extraordinary happened. His white fur began to glow a brilliant orange, like a tiny sunset had settled upon him!
"Luna! Look!" Oliver exclaimed, spinning in delighted circles.
But the real surprise came when Oliver started running. ZOOM! He moved faster than ever before, leaving a shimmering orange trail behind him. He could run to the sparkling creek and back in mere moments!
"This is amazing!" Oliver cried.
Luna nodded wisely. "The magic works best when you use it to help others."
Oliver understood. Using his new gift, he spent the day running errands for the forest creatures—fetching medicine for Mrs. Badger, carrying messages between birds, and helping lost baby squirrels find their mother.
As the sun set, Oliver's orange glow softly faded, but his heart felt warmer than ever. He learned that the real magic wasn't the glow or the speed—it was using his gifts to make the world brighter.
"Thank you, Luna," Oliver whispered, curling up beside his friend. "Being a helper is the best vitamin of all."
