The Sphinx Who Loved Green

Far beyond the golden desert, where the pyramids touch the clouds, lived a small sphinx named Cleo. Unlike other sphinxes who loved sitting still and asking riddles all day, Cleo loved running. She would run through the dunes at sunrise, her paws kicking up tiny sandstorms behind her.

One morning, while running near an oasis, Cleo met a young boy named Amir. He was planting something green and leafy in the sandy soil.

"What are you growing?" Cleo asked, tilting her lion head curiously.

"Spinach!" said Amir proudly. "My grandmother says it's the best food for strong bodies. It's full of vitamin power that makes you fast and healthy."

Cleo's eyes widened. "I want to be fast! I'm already fast, but I want to be the FASTEST sphinx in all Egypt!"

Amir smiled and shared some fresh spinach leaves with Cleo. They were crunchy and surprisingly delicious. "Every week, I'll bring you more spinach," Amir promised. "And you can teach me how to run like the wind."

And so began a wonderful friendship. Every sunrise, Cleo and Amir would run together across the desert sands. Cleo taught Amir how to leap over rocks and navigate by the stars. Amir brought Cleo fresh spinach and told stories about magical vitamins that gave heroes their strength.

Other sphinxes laughed at Cleo. "Sphinxes don't run! Sphinxes don't eat vegetables!" they said. But Cleo didn't care. She had found something better than tradition—a friend who believed in her dreams.

Months passed, and Cleo became the fastest creature in the desert. She could outrun jackals and gazelles, her golden fur gleaming in the sun. The other sphinxes stopped laughing and started asking for her secret.

"It's simple," Cleo would say with a mysterious smile. "Find what makes you different, embrace it with all your heart, and never be afraid to try new things—especially green things!"

Amir and Cleo remained best friends forever, running together under the Egyptian stars, proving that the greatest magic comes from friendship, courage, and being yourself.
