The Sphinx Who Lost Her Whiskers

Leo loved building castles on the beach, but today he created something different—a sand **sphinx** with a mysterious smile. As the sun set, something magical happened. The sphinx blinked!

"Oh, thank goodness!" cried the tiny sphinx, shaking sand from her paws. "I'm Amara, and I've been trapped for ages!" She was no bigger than a seashell, with emerald eyes that sparkled like the ocean.

Leo's **dog** Max bounded over, wagging his tail furiously. Amara giggled. "What a friendly companion!"

But then Amara's face fell. She touched her face where long, beautiful whiskers should have been. "Orion the Bull stole my golden **hair** while I slept. Without my whiskers, I can't sense the truth or remember my riddles!"

Leo's grandma had told him about Orion—that magnificent **bull** constellation who guarded the night sky. "We'll help you get them back!"

That night, when stars painted the sky, Leo, Max, and Amara climbed to the hilltop. There, among the twinkling stars, Orion appeared—a giant celestial bull with silver horns and eyes like moonlight.

"Why did you take Amara's whiskers?" Leo asked bravely.

Orion lowered his massive head. "I was lonely. I wanted something beautiful to keep me company in the night sky."

Leo had an idea. He reached into his pocket and pulled out something he'd picked earlier—a magical **papaya** that glowed with golden light. "Grandma says this fruit grants wishes to those with pure hearts. If you give back the whiskers, you can have this instead. It will shine brighter than any star!"

Orion's eyes widened. The bull gently placed Amara's golden whiskers back onto her face, then took the papaya with gratitude. It floated beside him like a tiny sun.

Amara's whiskers curled with joy. "You've taught us all something important," she told Leo. "True beauty isn't something you take—it's something you share."

From that night on, Orion was never lonely again. His papaya friend glowed beside him, while below, Leo, Max, and Amara shared stories, riddles, and the magic of friendship under the stars.
