The Sphinx's Sky Baseball Game

Lily loved baseball more than anything. Every Saturday, she wore her lucky red hat and played in the park with her friends. But one cloudy afternoon, her baseball soared higher and higher—up, up, up until it disappeared into the clouds!

"I'll find it!" Lily declared, adjusting her hat with determination.

She climbed the tallest oak tree and reached through a fluffy cloud. Suddenly, she found herself in a magical place—a golden baseball field floating in the sky! And there, sitting on a diamond-shaped pedestal, was a magnificent sphinx with sparkling blue wings.

"Welcome, young player," the sphinx purred kindly. "I am Solara, guardian of the Sky Ball Field. Your baseball has found its way here."

Lily's eyes widened. "It's so beautiful! Can I have it back?"

Solara nodded. "First, you must answer my riddle: What gives you strength when you're tired, makes you brave when you're scared, and helps you hit home runs even when you miss?"

Lily thought hard. She thought about how her mom gave her orange juice when she felt sick. She thought about how her dad told her to believe in herself.

"A... vitamin?" Lily guessed.

Solara smiled. "Partially—but the TRUE vitamin is courage!" She pressed a glowing golden pill into Lily's hand. "This is a Vitamin C—Vitamin of Courage. Take it when you need to be brave."

Lily tucked it into her pocket. "Thank you!"

"One more thing," Solara added. "Your red hat holds magic too. When you wear it, remember: you never play alone. Friendship is the strongest power of all."

Lily climbed back down with her baseball and the Vitamin of Courage. At her next game, she used the vitamin during the final inning. With her red hat on and her friends cheering, she hit the biggest home run ever!

That night, she touched her hat and smiled. Solara was right—the real magic was believing in yourself and the friends who believe in you too.
