The Sphinx's Silly Riddle
Leo loved exploring his attic, especially on rainy afternoons. Today he found something peculiar – an old, dusty hat with stars embroidered on the brim. When he placed it on his head, the attic swirled with golden sparkles!
Suddenly, Leo stood in a desert where palm trees swayed beside gleaming pyramids. A friendly sphinx with sparkly purple wings sat nearby.
"Welcome!" said the sphinx. "I'm Zuri. Solve my riddle and you'll see something magical!"
Leo nodded eagerly.
"I'm not alive, but I can dance," Zuri began. "I'm not scary, though sometimes I prance. In movies I moan, but here I smile. What am I?"
Leo thought hard. He looked at the pyramid's shadow. He watched the palm trees dance in the breeze. Then it clicked!
"A toy!" Leo exclaimed. "Like my zombie doll Ziggie – he's not scary at all!"
Zuri clapped her paws. "Correct! You see with your heart, not just your eyes!"
She touched Leo's hat, and suddenly Ziggie appeared, holding a tiny golden pyramid.
"Friendship is the greatest treasure," Zuri said. "You remembered what matters most."
Leo hugged Ziggie. The sphinx waved her paw, and golden sparkles filled the air.
When the sparkles faded, Leo was back in his attic, wearing his starry hat. Ziggie sat beside him, holding a miniature palm tree made of real gold.
"We'll have so many adventures," Leo whispered.
And they did – because the best magic lives in kindness and true friends.
