The Sphinx's Secret Vitamin
Luna was a curious cat with bright orange fur and green eyes that sparkled like emeralds. She lived on a beautiful island with swaying palm trees and crystal blue water. One sunny morning, while Luna was swimming near the beach, she noticed something shimmering under a giant palm tree.
It was an old, golden bottle half-buried in the sand. Luna dug it out with her paws and inside she found a note: "To whoever finds this — come to the Great Sphinx at midnight for a magical surprise."
Luna's tail twitched with excitement. She had heard stories about the Great Sphinx who lived in a cave on the other side of the island. The Sphinx was very old and very wise, but few animals had ever seen her.
That night, Luna crept through the jungle under the moonlight. When she reached the cave, she saw the most amazing sight — the Great Sphinx was there! She had the body of a lion, the head of a wise woman, and huge feathery wings.
"Welcome, little cat," the Sphinx said in a voice like gentle thunder. "You found my bottle. Many have passed, but only the curious stop to look."
Luna bowed politely. "What's the magical surprise?"
The Sphinx smiled and opened her paw to reveal a glowing orange tablet. "This is a special vitamin I make from starlight and coconut. It gives you the power to understand all animals and to swim underwater for a very long time. But you must promise to use it only to help others."
Luna's eyes widened. "I promise!"
She took the magical vitamin and suddenly she could hear the crickets singing, the dolphins laughing, and even the little fish whispering to each other. She swam back to her beach home, diving deeper than any cat had ever swum before.
From that day on, Luna became the island's helper. When baby turtles were lost, she guided them to the sea. When dolphins needed fish herding, she understood their calls and helped. And every night, she thanked the Great Sphinx for the gift that let her make so many new friends.
Luna learned that the best magic isn't just what you can do — it's how you use it to help others.
