The Sphinx's Secret Treasure
Lily loved exploring her grandmother's attic. One rainy afternoon, she found something peculiar—a small golden pyramid that glowed when she touched it. Suddenly, the room spun, and she tumbled through a swirl of sparkles!
When Lily opened her eyes, she stood in a desert under two suns. Before her rose a magnificent pyramid made of crystal, with a shimmering blue pool at its base. But something guarded the entrance—a giant sphinx with emerald eyes and wings like sunset clouds.
"Welcome, young seeker," the sphinx purred kindly. "I am Cleo, guardian of the Pyramid of Dreams. Many come, but only the pure-hearted may enter."
Lily's knees trembled, but she stood tall. "I'm Lily. What's inside the pyramid?"
Cleo smiled. "The most precious treasure—magical vitamins that give you courage, kindness, and curiosity. But first, you must answer my riddle: What has hands but cannot hold anything?"
Lily thought hard. She looked at the pool's reflection, at the pyramid's reaching spires, at the desert swirling around them. "A clock!" she exclaimed.
Cleo's wings fluttered with delight. "Correct! You may enter."
Inside the pyramid, glowing jars floated in the air. Each contained different colored vitamins—red for bravery, yellow for joy, green for wisdom. Cleo explained that these weren't ordinary vitamins. They grew from good deeds and kind hearts.
"Choose one, Lily," Cleo said. "But remember—the strongest magic comes from within you."
Lily reached for the blue vitamin—curiosity. As she touched it, she understood something wonderful. She didn't need magic to be brave or kind. She already had everything she needed.
"I choose... friendship!" Lily declared instead. "Can I share these with others who need them?"
Celo's eyes shone brighter than ever. "That, dear Lily, is the greatest magic of all."
Together, they placed vitamins by the pool, and soon children from many worlds came to drink. Each left with a glowing heart and a new friend.
When Lily returned home, the golden pyramid sat on her shelf—a reminder that the real treasure wasn't magic vitamins, but the courage to share and the friends she made along the way.
And sometimes, when she missed her friend Cleo, Lily would toss a penny into any pool and make a wish—for adventures, friendship, and the magic of a kind heart.
