The Sphinx's Secret Surprise

Maya loved visiting her grandfather in Egypt. Every summer, they would explore the golden desert together, searching for treasures hidden beneath the sand.

One starry night, a mysterious **lightning** bolt flashed across the clear sky—strange for a night with no clouds! The purple zigzag light struck right beside the great **pyramid**, and Maya gasped as something began to glow.

She crept closer and discovered the stone **sphinx** was winking at her!

"Hello, young friend," the sphinx rumbled gently. "I've waited centuries for someone brave enough to find me."

Maya's eyes widened. "You can talk?"

"Only to those with pure hearts," the sphinx said. "I need your help. A magical **bull** named Orion is lost in the constellation sky, and I cannot reach him alone."

Maya nodded bravely. "I'll help!"

The sphinx led her through a secret passage inside the pyramid. They climbed crystal stairs until they reached a hidden chamber filled with glowing fruits.

"You must bring Orion this sacred **papaya**," the sphinx explained, handing her a moon-glowing orange fruit. "It will give him strength to find his way home."

Maya held the papaya tight as she stepped through a shimmering portal into the night sky. Constellations twinkled around her like friendly fireflies. Suddenly, a great golden bull with sparkling fur appeared, looking sad and confused.

"Orion!" Maya called. "I brought you something special!"

The bull's eyes lit up when he saw the papaya. After eating it, his golden coat gleamed brighter than ever.

"Thank you, little friend," Orion boomed kindly. "You've saved me!" He lowered his mighty head. "Climb on—I'll take you on the best adventure ever!"

Maya rode across the galaxy, seeing stars that sang and moons that danced. When Orion returned her safely to the sphinx, the ancient guardian smiled.

"You have proven yourself," the sphinx said. "True bravery isn't about being strong—it's about being kind to those who need help."

Maya hugged the sphinx's stone paw. "I'll never forget this night!"
