The Sphinx's Secret Message

Lily loved exploring her grandmother's beach house. One afternoon, she found something mysterious behind a swaying **palm** tree in the garden — an ancient stone statue of a **sphinx**!

The sphinx had emerald eyes that seemed to sparkle. When Lily touched its nose, the statue spoke!

"Young detective," the sphinx rumbled kindly, "I need your help. I'm a magical **spy** who guards the ocean's secrets. But I've lost something important."

Lily's eyes widened. "A spy? Like in the movies?"

"Even better," the sphinx winked. "I protect the creatures who live in the **water**. But my magic shell has gone missing. Without it, I can't talk to the sea animals anymore."

Lily wanted to help. She ran inside and grabbed her dad's old **iPhone"** from the junk drawer. Maybe its flashlight could help her search!

As she shone the light around the garden, she noticed something glinting near the fountain. There, half-buried in the sand, was a beautiful pearlescent shell!

"You found it!" the sphinx cheered. "Lily, you have the heart of a true adventurer. Thank you for helping me."

The sphinx touched Lily's forehead with a stone paw, and suddenly she could hear giggling — from the **water**! Tiny seahorses were playing in the fountain.

"Now you can understand ocean magic too," the sphinx said. "Use it kindly."

That night, Lily fell asleep dreaming of underwater adventures, knowing that kindness and curiosity were the greatest magic of all.
