The Sphinx's Secret Game
Leo was just an ordinary boy who loved playing padel with his dad at the park. But one ordinary Tuesday turned extraordinary when he found a pair of shimmering golden glasses hidden under the bench.
When Leo put them on, the world changed colors. Sparkles floated in the air, and he could see secret doors everywhere. A tiny note appeared: 'Congratulations, Leo! You are now a magical spy, chosen to help creatures who need friends.' Leo's heart raced with excitement.
His first mission led him behind the old oak tree, where a secret door opened to a hidden garden. There sat a magnificent sphinx with lion's paws and wise human eyes. But this sphinx looked sad.
'Nobody wants to play with me,' she sighed. 'They think I'm too scary.' Her mane sparkled like sunset, and her wings shimmered like morning dew. She wasn't scary at all—just lonely.
'Will you be my friend?' Leo asked bravely. 'I know a magical game we can play!'
The sphinx's eyes lit up. 'You know padel? I've watched children play, but I've never tried.'
They played the most wonderful padel match ever. The sphinx was graceful and strong, hitting the ball with her paws while Leo used his racquet. They laughed and played until sunset.
Suddenly, a slow-moving creature shuffled into the garden. 'A zombie!' gasped a nearby rabbit. Everyone hid.
But Leo noticed something. The zombie wasn't scary at all—it was holding a beautiful bouquet of flowers. 'I come in peace,' said the zombie, whose name turned out to be Zara. 'I just move slowly because I'm a snail-spirit zombie. I wanted to give you these flowers for being so kind to the sphinx.'
The sphinx smiled. 'Thank you, Zara. Will you play padel with us too?'
Zara moved slowly but hit the ball gently and perfectly. Three new friends, an enchanted game, and the most important lesson Leo learned: never judge someone by how they look or move. The best friends sometimes come in the most unexpected packages.
That evening, Leo's magical glasses glowed one last time. His spy mission was complete. But the friendship was just beginning—every Saturday, the three friends met for magical padel matches in the secret garden, where everyone belonged.
